The Chitari are a feline-like humanoid species.
They were highly aggressive and engaged in numerous border skirmishes with the Kauld Freehold and Rilnar Syndicracy. When the Chitari War broke out, both the Terran Federation and the Kovaalan Hierarchy were able to force the Chitari back to their home system. Not long after the war ended, the remaining Chitari war-leaders began fighting among themselves, rendering the species extinct.
